Product #31760 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, ISH, ELISA, and IHC applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of horse IgG and the light chains common to most horse immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
It cross-reacts with rabbit IgG, swine IgM (3%), bovine IgG, and dog IgG (1%), and shows minimal cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species.
Target Information
Anti-Equine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and have well-characterized specificity for equine (horse) immunoglobulins.
They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of equine antibodies.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by enabling use with various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and increase sensitivity through signal amplification.
Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
