Target Information
PGAM1은 phosphoglycerate mutase family에 속하며, glucose 및 2,3-BPGA 대사에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA)를 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA)로 전환하는 가역 반응을 촉매하며, 다양한 조직에서 MM, BB, MB 형태의 이소자임으로 존재합니다.
PGAM1 유전자의 돌연변이는 glycogen storage disease X로 알려진 근육 phosphoglycerate mutase 효소 결핍을 유발합니다. 재조합 인간 PGAM 단백질은 N-말단 His-tag가 융합된 형태로 E. coli에서 발현 후 표준 크로마토그래피 기술로 정제되었습니다.
