Target Information
RARA는 레티노산 수용체로, all-trans 또는 9-cis retinoic acid에 반응하여 타깃 유전자 발현을 조절합니다. RXR/RAR 이합체 형태로 RARE 서열(5'-AGGTCA-3' 반복)에 결합하며, 리간드 결합 전에는 전사 억제 복합체와 결합하여 히스톤 탈아세틸화 및 전사 억제를 유도합니다. 리간드 결합 후에는 공동활성화인자와 결합하여 전사를 활성화합니다.
RARA는 생식세포 발달, 정자형성, 골격 성장 및 세포 생존 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 KMT2E/MLL5를 포함한 크로마틴 복합체를 모집하여 리간드 의존적 유전자 발현을 조절하며, 레티노산 유도성 과립구 생성을 매개합니다.
