Target Information
NUDT5는 ADP-sugar pyrophosphatase로 작용하거나, diphosphate 존재 시 ATP 합성을 촉매하는 효소입니다. Diphosphate가 없을 때는 ADP-ribose, ADP-mannose, ADP-glucose, 8-oxo-GDP, 8-oxo-dGDP 등 다양한 변형된 뉴클레오시드 이인산을 가수분해합니다. Diphosphate 존재 시, ADP-ribose를 ATP와 ribose 5-phosphate로 전환하여 핵 내 ATP 합성을 매개합니다. 이 과정은 Thr-45 탈인산화 시 활성화되며, ATP 생성은 염색질 재구성에 필요한 에너지를 제공합니다. U8 snoRNA decapping에는 관여하지 않으며, U8 snoRNA에 결합합니다.
