Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/mL or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

CD96, also known as TACTILE, is a cell adhesion receptor and a member of the Ig superfamily. It is a single-pass transmembrane protein with three extracellular Ig-like domains and a proline/serine/threonine-rich region. CD96 is expressed on resident monocytes and T cells at all developmental stages, including gamma-delta T cells, thymocytes, and NK cells. In mice, CD96 is not expressed on B cells, and unlike humans, mouse CD96 does not exist as alternative splice variants. CD96 binds CD155/poliovirus receptor and Nectin-1 to mediate NK cell adhesion to target cells and cytotoxicity.
