Product Specific Information

• Reconstitution: Add 50 µL or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

ATP-dependent calcium pumps maintain low cytoplasmic calcium concentrations. SERCA ATPases are encoded by a family of related enzymes located in intracellular organelles.

• SERCA1: Expressed exclusively in type II (fast) skeletal muscle.
• SERCA2: Generates tissue-dependent isoforms—SERCA2a in type I (slow) skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle; SERCA2b in all cell types.
• SERCA3: Found in non-muscle cells, less characterized.
