Target Information
Interleukin-4 (IL-4)은 활성화된 T 세포에서 생성되는 다기능 면역조절 사이토카인으로, interleukin 4 receptor의 리간드로 작용합니다.
IL-4는 광범위한 생리적 기능을 가지며, IL-13과 수용체를 공유하여 유사한 생물학적 작용을 나타냅니다.
STAT6은 IL-4 신호전달의 핵심 전사 인자로 알려져 있습니다.
IL-4 유전자는 IL-3, IL-5, IL-13, CSF2와 함께 염색체 5q 영역의 사이토카인 유전자 클러스터에 위치하며, IL-13과 근접하게 존재합니다.
또한 IL-4, IL-13, IL-5 유전자는 약 120 kb 범위 내에서 장거리 조절 요소에 의해 공동 조절됩니다.
