Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The calcium binding protein (CaBP) family shares much similarity with calmodulin. CaBP proteins can substitute for or augment calmodulin function and play a key role in calcium-mediated cellular signal transduction in the central nervous system.
CaBP1 and CaBP2 are expressed as multiple alternatively spliced variants in brain and retina, while CaBP3, CaBP4, and CaBP5 are restricted to retinal rod and cone cells.
