RPS6KA2 (RSK3) serine/threonine kinase는 ribosomal S6 kinase (RSK) family에 속합니다. 여러 성장 인자에 대한 세포 반응에서 신호 전달 중간체로 작용하는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 폐와 골격근에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다. RSK1–4는 ERK/MAPK cascade의 하위 구성원으로, RSK2의 결손은 Coffin-Lowry syndrome을 유발하며 정신 지체 및 성장 장애를 초래합니다. 또한 G-단백질 연관 신호전달의 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
