Target Information
Transaldolase 1 (TALDO1)은 비산화적 펜토스 인산 경로의 핵심 효소로, 핵산 합성을 위한 ribose-5-phosphate와 지질 생합성을 위한 NADPH를 제공합니다. 이 경로는 또한 글루타티온을 환원 상태로 유지하여 황화수소기 및 세포 구조를 산소 라디칼로부터 보호합니다.
TALDO1 유전자는 염색체 11번에 위치하며, 1번 염색체에 유사유전자가 존재하지만 위치에 대한 상충된 보고가 있습니다. 본 유전자는 다발성 경화증과 관련이 있는 것으로 추정됩니다.
