Target Information
AURKC (Aurora C)는 염색체 승객 단백질(chromosomal passenger protein)로, AURKB(Aurora B) 및 내측 중심체 단백질(inner centromere proteins)과 복합체를 형성하여 유사분열 중 중심체/방추체 기능과 관련된 미세소관 조직에 관여합니다. 여러 암세포주에서 과발현되어 종양 신호전달에 관련될 가능성이 제시되었습니다. Aurora kinase는 G2기부터 세포질분열(cytokinesis)에 이르는 세포 주기 주요 단계에서 중심체 복제, 염색체 배열 및 분리, 세포질분열 고랑 형성 등에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
