Target Information
THRAP3 is a 955-amino acid nuclear receptor-associated protein and a component of the TRAP (Thyroid Hormone Receptor Associated Protein) complex. It contains a LISH domain and plays a role in maintaining the nucleolar structure, particularly the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component. THRAP3 functions as a transcriptional coactivator and interacts with DKC1, NOP5/NAP65, and fibrillarin. Northern blot analysis shows that TRAP150 is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues.
