Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody is specific for Mouse SPINT2/HAI-2.
Target Information
The SPINT2 gene encodes a transmembrane protein with two extracellular Kunitz domains that inhibit various serine proteases. It inhibits HGF activator, preventing the formation of active hepatocyte growth factor. This gene functions as a putative tumor suppressor, and mutations can cause congenital sodium diarrhea. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
