Product Specific Information
Description:
The 9E2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD335 (NKp46), a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family expressed on NK cells. CD335 plays a role in activating and expanding resting NK cells through interaction with dendritic cells, contributing to the elimination of tumor and virus-infected cells. It also interacts with pancreatic beta cells during type I diabetes development. The 9E2 antibody has been reported to induce cytotoxicity.

Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL). Cell number may range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test.
Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.
Fixation:
Samples can be stored in:
- IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222)
- 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333)
Store up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Target Information
NKp46 (CD335, NCR1) is a cytotoxicity-activating receptor that enhances NK cell-mediated tumor cell lysis. It consists of two Ig-like domains similar to leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptors (LIR) and killer inhibitory receptors (KIR).
