Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins and are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. These secondary antibodies provide increased versatility, enabling use with various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Most secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
