Target Information
THRAP3 is a 955 amino acid nuclear receptor-associated protein and a member of the thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein family. It contains a LISH domain and functions as a 150 kDa subunit of the large multiprotein complex TRAP.
It plays a key role in maintaining the structure of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component within the nucleolus and acts as a transcriptional coactivator. THRAP3 interacts with DKC1, NOP5/NAP65, and fibrillarin. Northern blot analysis indicates that TRAP150 is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues.
