Target Information
FAS (Fas, CD95, APO-1)는 46 kDa의 막관통 당단백질로, TNFR (tumor necrosis factor receptor) 수퍼패밀리에 속하는 세포사멸 수용체입니다.
FAS는 약 26 kDa의 용해형 형태로도 존재하며, 자극 시 FAS-associated death domain (FADD)와 결합하여 death-inducing signaling complex (DISC)를 형성하고, 카스파아제 활성화를 유도합니다.
이 과정은 세포사멸(apoptosis) 신호전달을 매개하며, NF-κB, MAPK3/ERK1, MAPK8/JNK 경로를 활성화할 수 있습니다.
또한 FAS/FAS ligand 시스템은 AIDS, 간염, 암 등 다양한 질환과 관련이 있으며, 항바이러스 면역반응에서도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
