Target Information
Anti-human Polynucleotide Kinase (PNK) antibody recognizes a 57 kDa nuclear enzyme involved in DNA strand repair during replication, recombination, and response to DNA damage.
PNK phosphorylates and dephosphorylates DNA termini (5'-hydroxy and 3'-phosphate) and interacts with nuclear proteins such as DNA polymerase-beta and DNA ligase III to maintain genetic stability in human cells.
