Target Information
PKMYT1 serine/threonine kinase는 신경 특이적 zinc finger DNA 결합 단백질 계열로, 중추신경계의 proteolipid protein promoter 영역에 결합하여 발달 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
MYT1은 oligodendrocyte 계통과 관련된 CCHC zinc finger와 함께 포유류 신경계에서 발현되며, PKMYT1의 recombinant fragment는 PLP1 promoter의 동일한 cis-regulatory element에 결합합니다.
DNA 결합에는 Zn²⁺이 필요하지만 다른 2가 양이온은 필요하지 않습니다.
