For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and facilitate protein synthesis within mitochondria. Mitochondrial ribosomes (mitoribosomes) comprise a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit, with approximately 75% protein to rRNA ratio—opposite to that of prokaryotic ribosomes. Unlike prokaryotic ribosomes, mammalian mitoribosomes lack a 5S rRNA.
The DAP3 gene encodes a 28S subunit protein involved in apoptotic pathways initiated by TNF-α, Fas ligand, and IFN-γ. It may bind ATP/GTP and functionally interact with mitoribosomal protein S27. Splice variants differing in the 5′ UTR have been identified, encoding the same protein. Pseudogenes are located on chromosomes 1q and 2q.
