Target Information
SRPX1은 X-linked retinitis pigmentosa의 후보 유전자로 처음 확인되었으며, 녹내장 조건에서 안구의 trabecular network에서 과발현됩니다. 여러 암세포주 및 악성 종양 조직에서 발현이 현저히 감소하며, ectopic 발현은 세포 내 소포체 및 caspase-12, -9, -3의 활성화를 통해 apoptosis를 유도하여 종양 억제 인자로 작용할 수 있습니다. 또한 SRPX1은 낮은 혈청 조건에서 자가포식 조절에 관여하며, autophagy 관련 Rab GTPase 단백질 군의 일원인 Rab24와 결합할 수 있습니다. 이러한 결합은 autophagy 동안 증가합니다.
