Target Information

FABP5 (fatty acid binding protein 5, psoriasis-associated)는 인간 FABP5 유전자에 의해 발현되는 단백질로, PAFABP, EFABP, KFABP 등으로도 알려져 있습니다.
이 단백질은 긴 사슬 지방산 및 기타 소수성 리간드를 결합하는 소형 세포질 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 지방산의 흡수, 운반 및 대사에 관여합니다.
FABP5는 건선 조직에서 상향 조절되어 처음 발견되었으며, 세포 내 지방산 아미드 하이드롤레이스(FAAH)로 지방산 아마이드(예: AEA)를 운반하는 역할을 하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
