Target Information

TLK2 (Tousled-like kinase 2)는 핵 내 serine/threonine kinase로, chromatin assembly 조절에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
또한 TLK2는 intracellular signaling cascade, protein phosphorylation, cell cycle, chromatin modification, DNA damage response 등 다양한 세포 과정에 참여합니다.
S phase 동안 최대 활성을 나타내며, DNA 복제가 억제되면 TLK2 활성이 급격히 감소합니다.
TLK2는 Ser-750에서 CHK1에 의해 인산화되어 불활성화될 수 있으며, TLK1과 heterodimer를 형성합니다.
태아 조직(placenta, liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, skeletal muscle) 및 여러 성인 세포주에서 널리 발현됩니다.
