TREM1 (triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1)은 Ig superfamily에 속하는 수용체로, 세균 및 진균 감염 시 호중구와 단핵구 매개 염증 반응을 증폭시킵니다. 이는 염증성 케모카인 및 사이토카인의 분비를 촉진하고 세포 활성화 마커의 발현을 증가시킵니다. 또한 TREM1은 TREM2와 같은 관련 단백질과 함께 염증 반응 조절에 관여하며, 염증성 장 질환과도 연관되어 TNF, IL-6, IL-8, MCP-1의 생성 증가를 유도하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
