Target Information
Probable catalytic subunit of a constitutively active serine/threonine-protein kinase complex that phosphorylates many substrates containing acidic residues near the phosphorylated serine or threonine. Acts as an amplification-dependent oncogene promoting cell proliferation and tumorigenesis by downregulating expression of the tumor suppressor protein PML. May play a role in the development and progression of lung cancer.
