Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
The Neurotensin Receptor 2 (NTSR2) protein is a G protein-coupled receptor that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. It binds neurotensin and other ligands known for the NT1 receptor but differs by recognizing levocabastine, a histamine H1 receptor antagonist. This receptor may play an important physiological role, and a natural agonist may exist.
