Target Information
Calcium Channel 1 is a protein encoded by the CACNB1 gene and belongs to the calcium channel beta subunit family.
It modulates G protein inhibition, increases peak calcium current, controls alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting, and shifts the voltage dependence of activation and inactivation.
Dysfunction of this protein is associated with diseases such as malignant hyperthermia susceptibility.
