Target Information
NADH dehydrogenase subunit 5 (ND5) is a mitochondrial gene product and a component of Complex I’s hydrophobic fragment. Mutations in ND5 are associated with mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy, a recessive multisystem disorder characterized by elevated thymidine and deoxyuridine levels.
