Antibody detects endogenous levels of total TITIN.
Target Information
Monoclonal Anti-Titin antibody is used to study elastic filaments within sarcomeric structures.
It serves as a differentiation marker for distinguishing rhabdomyosarcomas from other muscle tumors.
By indirect immunofluorescence, it shows a typical striated staining pattern on frozen sections of chicken skeletal and cardiac muscle tissues.
It stains the region of the A-I junction and shows a decoration line 0.05 mm from the end of the A band in electron micrographs.
In immunoblotting of chicken breast muscle extracts, the antibody reacts specifically with both bands of the titin doublet and shows no cross-reactivity with nebulin.
