EPHA3는 ephrin receptor 하위군에 속하는 단백질 티로신 키나아제 패밀리의 구성원입니다.
이 수용체는 ephrin-A 리간드와 결합하며, 주로 신경계 발달 과정에 관여합니다.
EPHA3 단백질은 하나의 키나아제 도메인과 시스테인 풍부 영역, 두 개의 fibronectin type III 반복을 포함하는 세포외 영역을 가지고 있습니다.
Ephrin 수용체는 ephrin-A 및 ephrin-B 리간드 결합 친화도에 따라 두 그룹으로 나뉩니다.
