Target Information
TFG protein is a human homolog of mouse TFG protein containing an N-terminal coiled-coil structure and SPYGQ-rich region with octicosapeptide repeats. Research indicates TFG modulates SHP-1 activity and is a member of the NF-kB pathway. It associates with proteins such as TANK and NEMO and is implicated in oncogenic rearrangements including TRK-T3 (thyroid), ALK (anaplastic lymphoma), and NOR1 (mixoid chondrosarcoma).
