Target Information
BRCC36는 BRCA1, BRCA2, RAD51, BRCC45와 함께 유비퀴틴 E3 리가아제 활성을 가진 홀로엔자임 복합체를 형성합니다. BRCC36의 이상 발현은 유방암에서 관찰되며, siRNA로 BRCC36 또는 BRCC45를 제거할 경우 방사선 민감성이 증가하고 G2/M 체크포인트 결함이 발생합니다. 이는 BRCC36이 DNA 손상 후 세포 생존을 향상시키는 역할을 함을 시사합니다. 또한 BRCC36은 BRCA1 인산화 및 핵 초점 형성에 필수적이며, 방사선 저항성 유방암 치료의 잠재적 표적이 될 수 있습니다. 최소 두 가지 isoform이 존재합니다.
