Target Information
SETD2는 히스톤 H3의 Lys-36 위치를 트리메틸화(H3K36me3)하는 히스톤 메틸트랜스퍼라아제로, H3K36me2를 기질로 사용합니다.
이는 전사 활성과 관련된 주요 에피제네틱 마커로 작용하며, FACT 복합체 및 POLR2A와 상호작용하여 크로마틴 구조를 조절합니다.
또한 DNA 불일치 수선(mismatch repair) 과정에서 MutSα 복합체의 MSH6 서브유닛을 모집하는 데 필수적입니다.
H3K36me3는 DNMT3A를 모집하여 이질염색질 상태 유지에도 관여하며, 스플라이싱 및 RNA 중합효소의 신장 과정과도 연관되어 있습니다.
SETD2는 혈관신생(angiogenesis) 과정과 아데노바이러스 12 E1A 유전자 발현 조절에도 관련이 있습니다.
