Target Information
Ig alpha는 체액 내 주요 면역글로불린 클래스이며, 국소 감염 방어 및 외래 항원의 면역계 접근을 차단하는 역할을 합니다. 인간의 alpha 1 및 alpha 2 면역글로불린 중쇄 상수 영역 유전자는 각각 세 개의 엑손을 포함하며, 각 엑손은 단일 상수 영역 단백질 도메인을 암호화합니다. alpha 1과 alpha 2 유전자 서열 정렬 결과, 5' 플랭킹 영역에서 특이한 결합된 결실-중복 현상이 나타나며, 이는 slipped-strand mispairing 모델로 설명될 수 있습니다. alpha 1 유전자와 두 개의 alpha 2 대립유전자 염기서열 비교 결과, alpha 1 유전자의 3' 말단으로부터 한 alpha 2 대립유전자에 국소적인 유전정보 전달이 일어났음을 보여줍니다. 이는 유전자 변환(gene conversion)에 의해 발생한 것으로 추정됩니다.
