Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human SorCS2 and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant SorCS1 (human or mouse) is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
SorCS2 encodes a member of the vacuolar protein sorting 10 (VPS10) domain-containing receptor family. The VPS10 domain originates from the yeast carboxypeptidase Y sorting receptor Vps10 protein. Members of this family are large genes with many exons separated by large introns, and are strongly expressed in the central nervous system.
