Target Information
CD43 (leukosialin, sialophorin)은 높은 음전하를 가진 점액질 유사 막관통 단백질로, 대부분의 조혈 세포 표면에 발현됩니다. CD43은 세포 부착을 방해하는 반발성 장벽을 형성하지만, 특정 상황에서는 백혈구 응집을 촉진하기도 합니다. Actin 결합 단백질인 ezrin 및 moesin과의 상호작용을 통해 T 세포 형태 재구성 및 림프구 이동 중 세포 간 상호작용을 조절합니다. 또한 CD43 신호는 LFA-1의 접착성을 증가시키고 다른 수용체를 통한 LFA-1 유도에 반대 작용을 합니다. CD43 발현은 종양 억제 단백질 p53을 활성화시키지만, p53 및 ARF 결핍 시에는 종양 성장과 생존을 촉진할 수 있습니다. CD43은 백혈구 기능의 중요한 조절 인자로 알려져 있으며, Wiscott-Aldrich 증후군 및 Adenoid Basal Cell Carcinoma와 관련된 이상이 보고되었습니다.
