Target Information

DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER)는 TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 매개하는 사멸 도메인(death domain)을 포함하는 수용체입니다. DR5는 TNF-receptor superfamily에 속하며, TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L에 의해 활성화되어 apoptosis 신호를 전달합니다. FADD 결핍 생쥐 연구에서 DR5 매개 세포사멸에는 FADD 단백질이 필요함이 밝혀졌습니다. DR5는 두 가지 isoform을 암호화하는 전사 변이체와 하나의 비암호화 전사체를 가지며, 과발현 시 apoptosis를 유도하고 NF-κB를 활성화시킵니다. 림프구와 비장에서 높은 수준으로 발현되며, DR5 이상은 편평세포암 및 림프구 침윤 증후군과 관련이 있습니다.
