Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Serpin A1, Serpin A3, Serpin A5, Serpin C1, recombinant mouse Serpin D1, and Serpin F2 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
SERPINA4 inhibits human amidolytic and kininogenase activities of tissue kallikrein.
The inhibition occurs through formation of an equimolar, heat- and SDS-stable complex between the inhibitor and enzyme, accompanied by generation of a small C-terminal fragment due to cleavage at the reactive site by tissue kallikrein.
