Target Information
ATF6은 소포체 스트레스 시 비접힘 단백질 반응(Unfolded Protein Response, UPR)을 활성화하는 전사인자입니다.
이 단백질은 ER 스트레스 반응 요소(ERSE) 서열(5'-CCAAT-N(9)-CCAC[GA]-3')에 결합하며, NF-Y 단백질의 결합이 필요합니다.
ATF6은 ATF6β와 이합체를 형성할 수 있으며, NF-YC, GTF2I, YY1, SRF 등의 전사인자와 상호작용합니다.
ER 스트레스 시 절단된 N-말단 도메인이 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성화를 유도합니다.
ATF6은 N-글리코실화되며, MAPK14/P38MAPK에 의해 인산화될 수 있고, bZIP 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다.
