A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45936 detects VPS35 (~92 kDa) in 10 µg of SH-SY5Y lysate by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Target Information
VPS35 is part of a vacuolar protein sorting (VPS) gene family. It encodes a core component of the retromer complex, which mediates retrograde transport of proteins from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Structural similarity between yeast and human retromer components suggests conserved function. Expression studies indicate VPS35 interacts directly with other retromer proteins.
