Target Information
CXXC5는 DVL1-binding protein CXXC4 (Idax)와 유사한 zinc finger 단백질로, 발생 과정 중 Wnt 신호전달 경로를 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. Neural stem cell에서 BMP4 자극에 의해 발현이 증가하며, Wnt-signaling target AXIN2 수준을 감소시켜 Wnt3a 반응을 촉진합니다. 또한 CXXC5 전사는 WT1 transcription factor에 의해 활성화되어 WNT/β-catenin 경로 및 배아 신장 발달에 관여합니다.
