Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK)는 세포 스트레스 및 염증성 사이토카인 자극에 반응하여 활성화되는 serine/threonine kinase 계열 단백질입니다. 이 효소의 활성은 p38 alpha 및 p38 beta에 의해 조절되며, MAPK1/ERK, MAPK14/p38-alpha, MAPK11/p38-beta에 의해 인산화됩니다. In vitro에서는 heat shock protein HSP27을 생리학적으로 관련된 부위에서 인산화합니다. 두 가지 상이한 isoform을 인코딩하는 alternative splicing 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
