Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK)는 세포 스트레스와 염증성 사이토카인 반응 시 활성화되는 세린/트레오닌 키나제 계열 단백질입니다. 이 키나제의 활성은 p38 alpha 및 p38 beta에 의해 조절되며, MAPK1/ERK, MAPK14/p38-alpha, MAPK11/p38-beta 등의 MAP kinase에 의해 인산화되어 활성화됩니다. In vitro에서 HSP27 단백질을 생리학적으로 관련된 부위에서 인산화합니다. PRAK 유전자는 두 가지 상이한 isoform을 생성하는 대체 스플라이싱 변이를 가집니다.
