Target Information
GRB2 protein contains one SH2 domain flanked on both sides by SH3 domains. Upon EGF stimulation, GRB2 binds through its SH3 domains to the guanine nucleotide exchange factor Sos. The GRB2–Sos complex then associates with the EGF receptor, playing a crucial role in activating the p21 ras signaling pathway.
