Target Information
A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs)는 단백질 키나아제 A (PKA)의 조절 서브유닛에 결합하여 세포 내 특정 위치에 효소 복합체를 고정시키는 역할을 하는 단백질군입니다.
AKAP13 유전자는 AKAP 계열 단백질 중 하나를 암호화하며, 다양한 전사체 변이체를 생성합니다. 이 단백질은 dbl oncogene homology (DH) 및 pleckstrin homology (PH) 도메인을 포함하며, Rho/Rac GTP 결합 단백질의 활성화에 관여합니다.
또한, PH 도메인은 다기능적 역할을 가지며, AKAP13은 scaffold 단백질로서 Rho 신호전달 경로를 조정하고, PKA-anchoring 단백질로 작용하며, 에스트로겐 수용체 α 및 β의 리간드 의존적 활성을 강화합니다.
