Nirsevimab은 RSV를 표적하는 바이오시밀러 항체입니다. 인간 호흡기 세포 융합 바이러스(RSV)는 Paramyxoviridae 계열 Pneumovirinae 아과에 속하며, 홍역과 유행성이하선염과 같은 일반적인 호흡기 감염을 일으킵니다. RSV의 게놈은 단일가닥 음성 RNA로 구성되어 있으며, 세 가지 외피 당단백질(SH, G, F)을 암호화합니다. F 단백질은 인접 세포의 막을 융합시켜 syncytia를 형성합니다. RSV는 성인에서는 경미한 증상을 유발하지만, 영유아기에는 하기도 감염 및 병원 방문의 주요 원인 중 하나입니다.
