Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Cadherin-16 (Ksp-Cadherin) is a type I membrane protein expressed specifically in the basolateral membrane of renal tubular epithelial cells.
The human Ksp-cadherin gene (Cadherin-16) maps to chromosome 16q21–proximal 16q22, and the mouse homolog is localized to distal chromosome 8.
