Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RPS6KB1 (p70S6K) is a serine/threonine kinase with two non-identical catalytic domains that phosphorylate the S6 ribosomal protein. It is mainly localized in the cytoplasm and plays a key role in growth factor-regulated cell proliferation, motility, immune response, and tissue repair.
Acts downstream of PI3-kinase, targeting S6 ribosomal protein to enhance protein synthesis and cell proliferation.
Amplification and overexpression of p70 S6 kinase are observed in certain breast cancer cell lines.
