Target Information
ArfGAP1은 406개의 아미노산으로 구성된 조절 단백질로, ADP ribosylation factor (ARF)의 GTPase 활성을 조절하는 Arf-GAP 도메인을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 ARF1에 결합된 GTP의 가수분해를 촉진하며, 골지 유래 막과 소포에서 코트 단백질의 해리를 유도하여 막 수송 및 소포 융합 과정에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
그 활성은 phosphoinositides에 의해 촉진되고 phosphatidylcholine에 의해 억제됩니다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 대부분의 조직에서 광범위하게 발현됩니다.
