Target Information
ArfGAP1은 Arf-GAP 도메인을 포함한 406 아미노산 길이의 조절 단백질로, ADP ribosylation factor (ARF)의 GTPase 활성을 조절하는 역할을 합니다. ArfGAP1은 ARF1의 GTP 결합 형태를 가수분해하여 골지 유래 막 및 소포에서 코트 단백질의 해리를 유도하며, 이는 막 수송 및 소포 융합 과정에 필수적입니다. 이 단백질의 활성은 phosphoinositides에 의해 촉진되고 phosphatidylcholine에 의해 억제됩니다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 대부분의 조직에서 보편적으로 발현됩니다.
